Service Learning Project

On Monday, August 28 and Tuesday, September 5, some high school students helped the Local Clockwinder Optimist Club’s Annual Rib Rubbing in the Lamm Dining Room. They prepared approximately 1,000 slabs of ribs for the Old Settler’s Day. On each slab of ribs, the students pierced, sprinkled the special seasoning, and rubbed them. It was a fun, rewarding experience for the students. The profit proceeds are for the youth in the local area.
