Information and Visitation Guidelines:
As a resource center on deafness and deaf education, we welcome
your inquiries and questions. While visits may be scheduled, our
need to minimize disruptions in our students' learning environment
will temper the scope and duration of your visit. We will do our
best to see that you obtain the information and understanding
you are seeking.
The KSD Community Resource Services Department can assist with
the following:
Presentations to organizations about a variety of topics
related to Deafness and deaf education, usually 30-60 minutes.
Calendar of upcoming Kansas School for the Deaf events which are open to the public.
Kansas School for the Deaf informational packets.
If you would like to visit the school, please note the following:
Contact the Community Resource Facilitator, Leslie Caldwell, for a mutually agreed upon date and time for the requested tour or observation. A follow up letter of request for tour must be written on school or organizational stationery. The request should include the following information:
Date and time of the visit
Purpose of the visit
Length of the visit [generally a maximum of two hours]
Number of visitors [generally limited to ten persons]
